Honeywell Helps Iggesund Paperboard Enhance Production Efficiency and Product Quality
Improved Product Quality and Reduced Waste
The project will significantly improve Iggesund's control over the cross-directional (CD) properties of the board during
production. Honeywell’s three actuators will aid in precise control, not only improving product quality but also reducing
waste. The three actuators include:
AutoSlice™: Provides superior CD basis weight control.
Aqualizer™: Ensures accurate moisture levels by applying a fine water spray to dry areas of the sheet.
ProFlow™: Delivers automatic CD control for dilution, consistency profiling, and width.
Together with the Da Vinci QCS, these actuators will ensure the Iggesund system adheres to strict, predetermined quality standards.
